What we treat
Running injuries. Tendon pain.
The stuff that won't go away.
If you've been told to rest, ice it, and come back in six weeks -- there's another way. Front Runner specializes in the injuries that sideline active people, treating the cause, not just the complaint.
Foot, Ankle & Lower Leg
Extremity care is a particular specialty here. Feet and lower legs are the foundation most providers overlook -- and the place where most running injuries actually start. We go deep on the whole chain.
ART · Shockwave · Graston · Foot Analysis
Plantar Fasciitis
That first-step morning pain that won't quit. We combine shockwave therapy with ART and gait analysis to resolve the tissue damage and address why it developed in the first place.
Shockwave · ART · Graston
Achilles Tendinopathy
Chronic tendon degeneration that gets worse the longer you wait. Shockwave therapy restarts the healing process even in injuries months or years old.
Shockwave · EMTT · ART
IT Band Syndrome
Lateral knee pain that stops your run at mile 4. ART releases adhesions in the IT band and surrounding hip musculature that no amount of foam rolling will reach.
ART · Dry Needling · Chiropractic
Hip & Glute Pain
Piriformis, labral irritation, hip flexor tightness. We look at the full kinetic chain -- from foot strike to lumbar spine -- not just where it hurts.
ART · Dry Needling · EMTT
Postpartum Return to Running
DNS-trained postpartum care that respects where your body actually is. A return-to-run plan you can trust, from a mom and RRCA coach who’s been there.
DNS · Webster · Chiropractic
Also treating: shin splints, stress fractures, neck & back pain, shoulder injuries, prenatal care, pediatric adjustments, tennis elbow, knee osteoarthritis, and general performance chiropractic for non-runners.
Advanced therapies
The tools most clinics don't have.
Shockwave Therapy
Acoustic pressure waves that stimulate healing in tendons and fascia -- even in injuries years old. One of the only clinics in Wauwatosa offering this technology.
Learn more →EMTT
Extracorporeal magnetotransduction therapy. Magnetic energy that reaches deep tissue without contact -- used by NBA and MLB training facilities.
Learn more →Active Release Techniques
Full Body ART certified at the Masters level. Precise soft-tissue protocols that break adhesions and restore range of motion in a way adjustments alone can't.
Learn more →Manual Therapies
Dry needling for deep trigger point release. Graston Technique for instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. Cupping for fascial decompression and blood flow. Applied based on what your tissue needs -- not a standard protocol.
Book a visit →Prenatal & Pediatric
Webster Certified prenatal care, DNS postpartum return-to-run protocols, and gentle pediatric adjustments. Whole-family care under one roof.
Book a visit →Foot & Gait Analysis
Extremity care is a specialty. We analyze movement from the ground up -- foot mechanics, ankle mobility, lower leg loading patterns -- and connect it all the way to the hip and spine.

What you're probably wondering.
Straight answers to the questions most patients ask before their first visit -- and a few they wish they'd asked sooner.
Can I keep running while I'm being treated?
In most cases, yes -- with modifications. The goal is never to bench you. Dr. Beth will assess your injury, training load, and goals together, and build a plan that keeps you moving while the tissue heals. Stopping entirely is rarely the answer.
How many sessions does shockwave therapy take?
Most patients see meaningful improvement in 3 to 6 sessions, spaced about a week apart. Chronic injuries that have been unresolved for months may need a full course of 6 sessions. Many patients notice results after the first or second visit.
Do you treat people who aren't runners?
Absolutely. Runners are a specialty, but Front Runner treats active people of all kinds -- cyclists, swimmers, CrossFitters, parents, professionals with desk injuries, prenatal patients, and kids. If your body moves, we can help it move better.
What makes Front Runner different from a regular chiropractor?
Most chiropractic visits are 10 minutes of adjustments and out the door. At Front Runner, every visit includes a full assessment and typically combines chiropractic care with ART, shockwave, dry needling, or EMTT -- based on what your tissue actually needs that day.
Is plantar fasciitis something you can actually fix?
Yes -- and it's one of the conditions that responds best to the combination of shockwave therapy and ART. Most patients who've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for months see significant improvement within a few sessions when the right tools are applied together.
Do you accept insurance?
Front Runner is an out-of-network provider by choice. Insurance companies dictate what they cover -- and they routinely say no to the therapies that actually get people better. Being out-of-network means Dr. Beth can use shockwave, EMTT, ART, and whatever combination your tissue needs, without asking permission. Many patients use their HSA or FSA. Superbills are available for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
